Bio
Elise Harrington is an assistant professor at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota in the Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy (STEP) area.
What is your favorite thing about your research?
I love to constantly learn and push myself to think about problems in new or different ways. Research helps me see the world through different perspectives. I love working collaboratively across disciplines and closely with research partners.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A veterinarian! I still love animals.
If you could learn any skill overnight, what would it be?
Playing the guitar. (I'll keep trying!)
