Conor is a second-year Master’s student in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. His interests center on climate resilience and the renewable energy transition. Before graduate school, he spent two years in the CDC’s Public Health Associate Program, working with the Minnesota Department of Health’s Asthma Program. He also supported food sovereignty initiatives with the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa’s Planning Division. Outside of work, Conor enjoys getting lost– in the woods, cities, and books nearest to him.
What is your favorite thing about your research?
I enjoy staying up to date with evolving energy projects across the Midwest and exploring their potential social and environmental impacts of those developments. It’s exciting to analyze how these developments interact with local communities and ecosystems.

What is your favorite season?
Autumn! I love the brisk, 50-degree sweater weather, the striking contrasts of yellow, red, orange and green leaves in the canopy, and all the critters busily preparing themselves for the coming winter season.
